of <h1>GST Refund Fortnight Extended to June 16, 2018; Follow Circular No.12/2018 for IGST Short Payment Claims.</h1> The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs has extended the GST Special Refund Fortnight until June 16, 2018, due to high demand and pending claims. Exporters with held-up refunds due to IGST short payment must pay the shortfall and follow Circular No.12/2018-Customs. Small exporters with refunds up to Rs. 10 Lakhs need to submit self-certified IGST payment proof, while others require a Chartered Accountant's certificate. Refund claimants should contact their tax authority for claims submitted by April 30, 2018. Applications must include supporting documents submitted to the tax office. All relevant parties are urged to utilize this extension.
