of <h1>Karnataka Launches IT Grievance Redressal for GST Portal Issues; Committee to Propose Solutions and Waive Penalties.</h1> The Government of Karnataka has established an IT Grievance Redressal Mechanism to address taxpayer issues arising from technical glitches on the GST Portal. This mechanism aims to assist taxpayers who face difficulties in filing forms or returns due to such glitches. The IT Grievance Redressal Committee, involving GSTN and other stakeholders, will identify issues affecting a large number of taxpayers and propose solutions. Nodal officers will be appointed to manage these grievances. The committee is empowered to recommend waivers of fines or penalties resulting from these technical issues, subject to approval by the GST Council.
