<h1>81 Companies Transition to Normal Rolling Settlement Mode; Phased Eligibility from April to July 2003 Announced.</h1> The circular issued by the Depositories and Custodial Division on April 29, 2003, informs stock exchanges, depositories, and custodians about the list of companies now eligible for trading under the normal rolling settlement mode. Previously, companies without electronic connectivity were placed under 'trade for trade' settlement. The circular notes that 81 companies have established electronic connectivity, allowing them to transition to the normal rolling settlement mode. Companies numbered 1 to 56 are eligible immediately, while those numbered 57 to 66, 67 to 70, and 71 to 81 will be eligible from May 1, June 1, and July 1, 2003, respectively.
