Companies Must File Form DPT-3 for Non-Deposits by Set Deadline; Excludes Government Entities Per MCA Directive.
The Ministry of Corporate Affairs mandates that all companies, excluding government entities, file a one-time return using Form DPT-3. This return should report outstanding receipts of money or loans not considered deposits from April 1, 2014, to the notification date in the Official Gazette. Companies must submit this form within 90 days of the notification's publication, including the necessary fee as per the Companies (Registration Offices and Fees) Rules, 2014. Data on deposits should be reported up to March 31, 2019. Additional fees will apply 30 days after the DPT-3 form is available on the MCA 21 portal.
