of <h1>DGFT Ends Physical Copies of MEIS/SEIS Scrips for EDI Ports; Online PDFs Available from April 10, 2019.</h1> The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) has announced the discontinuation of issuing physical copies of MEIS/SEIS scrips for EDI ports effective from April 10, 2019, to enhance ease of business. Applicants will continue to apply online, and approved scrips will be available in PDF format for printing via the DGFT website. Scrip holders can use these for duty payments after verification by Customs Authorities. Scrip transfers must be recorded online, and no simultaneous transfers to multiple firms are allowed. This change does not apply to non-EDI or SEZ ports, where the existing system remains.
