of <h1>DGFT ends printing of Advance and EPCG Authorisations on security paper for EDI ports, effective March 1, 2019.</h1> The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) has announced the discontinuation of printing Advance Authorisations and Export Promotion Capital Goods (EPCG) Authorisations on security paper for authorisations issued with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) ports as the port of registration. This change, aimed at enhancing business efficiency for exporters, will be effective from March 1, 2019. Stakeholders, including customs brokers, exporters, and importers, are advised to note this update. Any difficulties encountered in implementing this change should be reported to the relevant customs office.
