of <h1>Customs Empanels Chartered Engineers as Valuers for Seized Goods for One Year Starting December 26, 2017.</h1> An interview was conducted on December 14-15, 2017, for the selection of valuers for seized, confiscated, detained, or time-expired bonded goods under the supervision of the Principal Commissioner of Customs (General). The committee selected several chartered engineers for empanelment, including five firms. The appointed valuers will serve for one year from December 26, 2017, or until their appointment is terminated or extended by the appropriate authority. This decision was approved by the Principal Commissioner of Customs at the New Custom House, Mumbai Customs Zone-I.
