of <h1>Manual EGM Filing Delays IGST Refunds for July 2017 Exports; Compliance Required by October 31, 2017.</h1> The circular addresses exporters, importers, customs brokers, steamer agents, and stakeholders regarding the manual filing of Export General Manifests (EGMs) by shipping lines, which is delaying the refund of Integrated Goods and Services Tax (IGST) for exports made in July 2017. The Central Board of Excise & Customs identifies this as a primary issue affecting IGST refunds. To resolve this, shipping lines must file Supplementary EGMs on ICEGATE or at the Service Centre for hinterland cargo by October 31, 2017. All stakeholders are urged to comply with these directives to facilitate the processing of refunds.
