of <h1>Kattupalli Port CMFC Merges with Chennai Port CMFC for Streamlined Operations; Requests Now Processed at Chennai Port Trust.</h1> The Container Movement Facilitation Cell (CMFC) of Kattupalli Port has been merged with the CMFC at Chennai Port to streamline operations and facilitate trade. As a result, all container movement requests for both ports will now be processed at the CMFC section within the Chennai Port Trust. Steamer agents, CFS operators, customs brokers, and consol agents should direct their requests to the Superintendent CMFC at Chennai Port. Additionally, all amendments and job numbers related to these ports should be obtained from the EDI Service Centre at the Custom House in Chennai. The CMFC section will operate on the second Saturday and holidays with minimal staff, requiring advance MOT payment. This notice is effective immediately.
