of <h1>DGFT: From March 1, 2019, Advance and EPCG Authorisations for EDI Ports Go Fully Digital; No Physical Copies.</h1> The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) announced that from March 1, 2019, physical copies of Advance and EPCG Authorisations for EDI ports will no longer be issued. Applicants will apply online, and upon approval, they will receive a notification via email and mobile. Authorisation details can be viewed and printed from the DGFT website. Customs authorities will accept PDF copies without requiring a security paper. The system will ensure that all authorisation data is transmitted electronically to the DGFT server daily. For non-EDI ports, the existing system of issuing authorisations on security paper remains unchanged.
