The recognized agencies include firms in Bangalore and Kolkata, with specific validity periods for their recognition. Importers and customs brokers are advised to contact these agencies for inspection and appraisal reports if they cannot obtain overseas reports. These changes are part of ongoing updates to the Foreign Trade Policy 2015-20.
