of <h1>SEBI Extends Custodial Confirmation Deadline to 1 PM for T+2 Settlements; Obligation Files Deadline Now 2:30 PM.</h1> The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has revised the activity schedule for T+2 rolling settlements to allow more time for custodians to confirm trades. The deadline for custodial confirmation is extended to 1.00 pm, and the processing and downloading of obligation files by the Clearing Corporation/Clearing House is extended to 2.30 pm. These changes, effective from September 19, 2005, were made in consultation with market participants and follow the discontinuation of hand delivery bargains/DVP trades. Stock exchanges must amend relevant rules and inform members and SEBI of the implementation status. Other provisions from the February 2003 circular remain unchanged.
