of <h1>SEBI Updates Document Preservation Rules for Stock Exchanges; Immediate Implementation Required for Compliance with Circular Amendments.</h1> This corrigendum amends Circular No. SEBI/MRD/SE/Cir-15/2005 concerning the preservation of original documents by stock exchanges and their members during investigations by enforcement agencies. The previous requirement to preserve originals until trial completion remains unchanged, but the directive has been clarified. Other provisions of the original circular remain intact. Stock exchanges must implement these changes immediately, amend relevant regulations, inform their members, publish the updates online, and report implementation status to SEBI in the January 2006 Monthly Development Report. This circular is issued under the authority of the Securities and Exchange Board of India Act, 1992.
