of <h1>Ministry Circular Details Handover Procedures for IT/ITES SEZs to STPI Directors; Zonal Development Commissioners Maintain Files.</h1> The circular from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, dated June 18, 2009, addresses the procedure for handing over the charge of IT/ITES Special Economic Zones (SEZs) to the concerned Director of STPI. It clarifies that all original files related to the notification of SEZs must be maintained by the Zonal Development Commissioner. Inspections and reports of SEZs, until notification, are the responsibility of the jurisdictional Zonal Development Commissioner. The circular also includes a list of Zonal Development Commissioners and their respective jurisdictions for reference.
