of <h1>New Directive Mandates Detailed Justification for Policy Relaxation Requests to Avoid Delays under Para 2.58 Foreign Trade Policy.</h1> The Directorate General of Foreign Trade has issued a directive to streamline the processing of applications seeking policy or procedure relaxations under Para 2.58 of the Foreign Trade Policy. Due to an increase in such applications, weekly meetings of the Policy Relaxation Committee are held to expedite decisions. However, many applications lack proper justification in Column 15 of ANF-2D, leading to delays. To address this, applicants must now complete Column 15 with specific details of the requested relaxation and relevant policy references. Incomplete applications will be rejected to prevent delays and ensure efficient decision-making.
