This initiative aims to enhance the efficiency of Customs clearance processes. Non-compliance will result in the inability to file documents on ICEGATE. The system eliminates the need for hardcopy documents, with specific counters designated for mandatory verification of original documents. Officers are instructed to adhere to the eSANCHIT procedures, and any issues should be reported to the relevant office. The initiative is supported by a CBEC directive.
