of <h1>New Import Norms for Leather Industry: Thermoplastic Cement Added to SION Entry G-45 for Leather Products.</h1> The Director General of Foreign Trade has issued Public Notice No. 185, dated June 9, 2009, announcing additions and amendments to the Handbook of Procedures, Vol.2, 2004-2009, under the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-09. Changes have been made to the Standard Input Output Norms (SION) for the leather and leather products group, specifically entry G-45. The amendment includes the addition of thermoplastic cement as an import item for the production of gents leather half boot lasted upper with insole. These changes are intended to serve the public interest.
