of <h1>Ministry of Finance Adds 'Customs Notification Number' to Daily Trade Return for Imports, Effective July 1, 2009.</h1> The circular from the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, Central Board of Excise & Customs, dated June 9, 2009, announces the addition of a 'customs notification number' data field in the Daily Trade Return (DTR) format for imports. This revision aims to improve data collection on imports under Regional Trade Agreements and Preferential Trade Agreements. The updated format, effective from July 1, 2009, will be implemented electronically by the Directorate General of Systems and communicated to relevant agencies. The circular instructs issuing trade notices and guidance for officers and requests feedback on implementation challenges.
