It informs relevant stakeholders, including importers, exporters, and customs brokers, about changes effective from March and April 2018, where officer-supervised stuffing will be unavailable at specified locations. The electronic sealing procedure applies only to full container loads sealed by authorized exporters at approved premises, excluding non-containerized, air, or certain other cargo types. Containers without RFID e-seals will undergo standard risk management treatment. The notice requests trade associations to disseminate this information and serves as a directive for customs officers and staff.
