of <h1>ESANCHIT Now Available at All EDI Locations for Voluntary Use to Streamline Paperless Trade Processing.</h1> The eSANCHIT application, initially launched at select customs locations, is now extended to all Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) locations on a voluntary basis. This initiative, under the CBEC's 'saksham' project, aims to facilitate paperless processing and expedite trade by allowing the upload of digitally signed documents. Although currently voluntary, customs brokers and self-filers are encouraged to develop the capability to use eSANCHIT in preparation for its mandatory implementation. Detailed procedures and FAQs are available on the ICEGATE website. Any difficulties should be reported to the Commissioner of Customs.
