of <h1>Valmikinagar, Bihar, becomes Land Customs Station for trade clearance from June 1, 2018; initially a Non-EDI port.</h1> Valmikinagar in West Champaran District, Bihar, has been designated as a Land Customs Station (LCS) per the Government of India's notification. Starting June 1, 2018, this LCS will commence operations for the clearance of export and import consignments. Initially, Valmikinagar will function as a Non-EDI port until EDI connectivity is established. All necessary arrangements have been made to facilitate trade, and any difficulties encountered should be reported to the Deputy/Assistant Commissioner of Customs in Motihari.
