of <h1>New Protocols for Transporters of CID Exports Under India-Nepal Treaty: Register by August 31 or Face Legal Action.</h1> The circular outlines procedures for transporters carrying CID (Exports) consignments under the Treaty of Transit between India and Nepal. Due to detected diversions, new protocols require Customs Brokers to submit letters of authority from Nepalese exporters. Transporters must register with the Local Customs Stations (LCS) by August 31, 2018, with registration valid for one year. Non-compliance may result in deregistration and legal action under the Customs Act. Transporters must apply for registration with the LCS, and vehicle details must be registered. Documents must include transporter and vehicle details. The Deputy or Assistant Commissioner will issue or renew licenses annually.
