of <h1>ICES Directories Update on February 1, 2018: Entry Filing Paused; Shipping Bills Unaffected; Manual Duty Tracking.</h1> Importers, exporters, customs brokers, and trade formations are informed that the update of ICES directories will commence on February 1, 2018, following the presentation of the 2018-19 Budget. Filing of Bills of Entry and Section 48 approvals will be halted at 1700 hrs on that day, though other ICES functions will remain operational. Shipping Bills processing will continue uninterrupted. Any changes in Export Duty and Export Cess announced will be tracked and collected manually. Data entry at Service Centres will pause at 1700 hrs on February 1 and resume post-update. Stakeholders should plan shipments accordingly.
