The Commissionerate of Customs-VL Chennai is now responsible for brand rate fixation for exports from Chennai VII, Air Cargo Complex. The Brand Rate Fixation Cell, led by a Deputy/Assistant Commissioner, will process applications, verify documents, and determine brand rates for exports. Applications must be filed with the designated Deputy/Assistant Commissioner, and verification will be conducted based on the location of the exporter's factory. Trade associations are encouraged to disseminate this information to their members.
