of <h1>Jamnagar Customs Mandates e-SANCHIT for Paperless Bill Processing Starting March 15, 2018; Hard Copies Not Required.</h1> The Customs Commissionerate in Jamnagar has mandated the use of the e-SANCHIT facility for paperless processing of bills of entry starting March 15, 2018. Importers and Customs Brokers must upload digitally signed supporting documents for all entries, or they will be barred from filing on ICEGATE post-March 8, 2018. Hard copies are not required unless additional documents are needed during assessment. Original certificates must still be uploaded before clearance. Feedback and issues should be directed to the Joint Commissioner or Deputy Commissioner via email. These directives serve as standing orders for officers and staff.
