This decision aims to enhance trade facilitation and ease of doing business. The Assessment Group (Import), consisting of Appraisers and Assistant/Deputy Commissioners, will align with the existing six-day schedule of the Assessment Group (Export). Importers, logistic providers, terminal operators, customs brokers, and trade members are encouraged to utilize this initiative to expedite the clearance of import consignments.
