It addresses concerns raised by exporters regarding the time and costs associated with the examination of Risk Management System (RMS) selected containers. To streamline the process, a dedicated area within the terminal premises at M/S VCTPL has been designated for the examination of these containers. The examination will be conducted by Customs Preventive Staff, and containers will be sealed by a Preventive Officer. This modification aims to enhance trade facilitation by reducing time and expenses for exporters. The previous guidelines have been updated accordingly.
