of <h1>Customs Simplifies AEO-T1 Applications with New Annexures; Zonal Level Processing and Digitization Initiated per Circular No. 26/2018.</h1> The Public Notice No. 32/2018 from the Office of the Principal Commissioner of Customs in Visakhapatnam announces the simplification and rationalization of the AEO-T1 application process. The Board has issued Circular No. 26/2018, replacing existing annexures with Annexure 1 and 2 for AEO-T1 applications, effective immediately. The accreditation process is decentralized to the Zonal level, where applications are processed by Zonal AEO Cells, and decisions are made by the Zonal AEO Programme Manager. Applications received before the new circular may be processed using previous or new annexures. Digitization of the process is underway.
