of <h1>Customs Office Updates Valuation Process for Second-Hand Machinery with New Authorized Agencies; Seeks Feedback from Trade Associations.</h1> Public Notice No. 11/2018, issued by the Customs Office at Kandla, addresses the valuation of imported second-hand machinery. It updates previous guidelines from Notice No. 64/2017 by adding new Chartered Engineers and Inspection and Certification Agencies authorized for valuation and examination of such machinery. These agencies are also listed in the Foreign Trade Policy 2015-20. The notice urges trade associations and brokers to inform their members about these updates and invites feedback on any difficulties encountered.
