of <h1>New Procedure for Discharging Bonds under Notification 57/2000-Customs: Electronic Submission and Acknowledgment Process Explained.</h1> The circular outlines revised procedures for discharging bonds executed by nominated agencies or banks under Notification No. 57/2000-Customs. These entities must electronically submit export proof documents, including the EP copy of the shipping bill, customs-attested invoice, and bank certificate of realization, to the Assistant/Deputy Commissioner of Customs. An electronic acknowledgment will be issued within 24 hours. If documents are incomplete, a deficiency memo is issued, requiring additional documents within five days. The bond discharge process is completed within seven days of confirming exports. Any difficulties in implementing this notice should be reported to the Principal Commissioner of Customs, Ahmedabad.
