This extension applies to shipping bills filed up to November 15, 2018. Exporters are advised to ensure accuracy in invoice details to avoid mismatches between the Shipping Bill and GSTR 1 data. A new facility is introduced for processing differential IGST refunds due to errors, applicable only for previously scrolled shipping bills. Exporters must submit a Revised Refund Request for claiming the differential amount. This facility is available once per eligible shipping bill, and any issues should be reported to the customs office.
