of <h1>India Deletes Paragraph 5.11.2 from Foreign Trade Handbook for Public Interest, Effective March 23, 2009.</h1> The Director General of Foreign Trade, under the authority granted by the Foreign Trade Policy 2004-09, has announced an amendment to the Handbook of Procedures (Vol. I) (RE-2008). Specifically, Paragraph 5.11.2 of the Handbook, as updated on April 11, 2008, is deleted. This amendment is issued in the interest of the public and is formalized through Public Notice No. 162 (RE-2008)/2004-09, dated March 23, 2009, by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Department of Commerce, Government of India.
