<h1>India Raises FII Investment Limit in Corporate Debt from USD 6 Billion to USD 15 Billion.</h1> The Government of India revised its External Commercial Borrowing policy, increasing the investment limit for Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) in corporate debt from USD 6 billion to USD 15 billion. A specific allocation of USD 1 billion will be distributed to FIIs and sub-accounts on a first-come, first-served basis, with a cap of Rs. 249 crore per entity. The allocation must be utilized within 11 working days by April 9, 2009. The circular includes a list of entities and their respective allocated limits.
