<h1>Clearing Corporations Must Submit Monthly Reports to SEBI on Key Metrics, Starting August 2015, as per SEBI Act 1992.</h1> The circular mandates all Clearing Corporations to submit a Monthly Report in a specified format starting August 2015, to be sent to SEBI within 10 days after each month's end. The report format is detailed in Annexure-A and includes data on clearing and settlement values, settlement shortages, penalties imposed, securities lending and borrowing, and the corpus of the Settlement Guarantee Fund (SGF). It also requires information on the administration of the Clearing Corporation, including board composition and meetings. This directive is issued under the authority of the Securities and Exchange Board of India Act, 1992, to safeguard investor interests and regulate the securities market.
