of <h1>SEBI Updates Abridged Prospectus Disclosure Rules for Better Readability and Informed Investments, Effective December 1, 2015.</h1> The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has revised disclosure requirements for abridged prospectuses to enhance readability and provide essential information for informed investment decisions. This change, effective from December 1, 2015, follows consultations with Investor Associations and market participants. The revised format, detailed in Annexure I, aims to streamline content while allowing investors to access full prospectuses online or through market intermediaries. Additionally, SEBI has updated the format for disclosing price information of past issues managed by merchant bankers, rescinding the previous circular from September 27, 2011. This circular is issued under the authority of the SEBI Act, 1992, and relevant regulations.
