<h1>India-Suriname USD 3.5M Line of Credit Established for Helicopter Maintenance; 75% Sourcing from India Required.</h1> Exim Bank, supported by the Government of India, has established a USD 3.5 million Line of Credit (LoC) with the Government of the Republic of Suriname, effective from October 23, 2018. This LoC aims to finance the servicing and maintenance of three Chetak helicopters in Suriname. At least 75% of the contract's goods and services must be sourced from India, with the remaining 25% potentially sourced internationally. The terminal utilization period is 60 months post-project completion. Exporters must declare shipments under the LoC as per Reserve Bank instructions, and no agency commission is payable for exports under this LoC.
