of <h1>Rajasthan GST Act: New Appellate Authorities Designated for GST Appeals u/s 5 and Rule 109A.</h1> The Government of Rajasthan's Commercial Taxes Department issued an order under the Rajasthan Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, designating specific officers as 'Appellate Authorities' for GST-related matters. These authorities are empowered to handle appeals concerning decisions made by Adjudicating Authorities within their territorial jurisdictions, as per a prior notification dated May 14, 2018. The order remains effective until further notice or until an officer is appointed as the Appellate Authority for Jaipur-III, Jaipur. This designation is authorized under section 5 of the Rajasthan GST Act and rule 109A of the Rajasthan GST Rules.
