of <h1>GST Notice: Revised MRP Labeling on Pre-Packaged Goods Allowed Until March 31, 2018, for Rate Reduction Adjustments.</h1> The Office of the Commissioner of Goods & Services Tax in Madhya Pradesh issued a trade notice regarding the labeling of Maximum Retail Price (MRP) on pre-packaged commodities following the implementation or reduction of GST. Manufacturers, packers, or importers are allowed to declare revised MRPs on unsold stock manufactured, packed, or imported before July 1, 2017, by stamping, stickers, or online printing, until December 31, 2017. Additionally, for goods affected by GST rate reductions after July 1, 2017, revised MRPs can be declared similarly until March 31, 2018. This extension is authorized by the Director of Legal Metrology.
