of <h1>Only Actual Service Providers Eligible for SFIS/SEIS Benefits, Not Ports; Directive Prevents Double Claims.</h1> The Directorate General of Foreign Trade clarifies that actual service providers, not ports, are eligible for SFIS/SEIS benefits for their earnings from notified services. Ports, as aggregators, can claim benefits only for services they exclusively render and for which they retain foreign exchange earnings or INR payments. Ports cannot claim benefits for service charges related to services performed by other providers. It is essential to prevent double claims by both ports and actual service providers. This directive is issued with the approval of the competent authority.
