This committee, responsible for approving VAT refunds exceeding Rs. 50 lakhs, includes Special Commissioners as members. The appointed members are anonymized as Special Commissioners and a Zonal Incharge, who serves as the Member Secretary. This delegation follows previous orders dated 31.08.2016 and a subsequent modification on 11.04.2018. The Commissioner of VAT/State Tax, anonymized here, issued this order to streamline the refund approval process.
