of <h1>CBDT Assigns New Delhi Official for Undisclosed Foreign Assets Declarations u/s 59 of Black Money Act.</h1> The Central Board of Direct Taxes, under section 119 of the Income-tax Act, 1961, and sections 6 and 84 of the Black Money (Undisclosed Foreign Income and Assets) and Imposition of Tax Act, 2015, has designated a specific income-tax authority to handle declarations of undisclosed foreign assets. Effective from December 18, 2015, until further notice, this responsibility is assigned to a designated official in New Delhi. The directive aims to streamline the process of declaring undisclosed foreign income and assets under section 59 of the Act.
