of <h1>Export Obligation Period Extended for Advance Authorizations on Raw Sugar Imports Until December 31, 2009, No Fee Required.</h1> The Director General of Foreign Trade has amended the Handbook of Procedures (Vol. I) RE-2008 under the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-09. Paragraph 4.22.1 is replaced, extending the export obligation period for advance authorizations related to raw sugar imports between September 21, 2004, and April 15, 2008. The new deadline for fulfilling export obligations is December 31, 2009, without requiring a composition fee. No further extensions will be granted beyond this date. This amendment is issued in the public interest.
