of <h1>New Amendments to Foreign Trade Policy: Marble and Travertine Products Now Eligible for Focus Product Scheme Benefits.</h1> The Directorate General of Foreign Trade has announced amendments to the Handbook of Procedures (Vol. 1) (RE-2008) under the Foreign Trade Policy 2004-09. The amendments include additions to Appendix 37D, Table 9, specifically under the category of High Value Added Manufactured Goods. New product codes for marble and travertine products have been added, and these products are eligible for a 2.5% Focus Product Scheme benefit on the FOB value of exports from April 1, 2008. Eligibility for this benefit requires a minimum value addition of 100% if exported under certain authorization schemes.
