of <h1>India Exempts Goods for Rotor Blades in Wind Generators from Excise and Customs Duties with Ministry Certification.</h1> The Government of India, through Notification No. 29/2005-Central Excise dated May 31, 2005, exempts specified goods used in manufacturing rotor blades for wind-operated electricity generators from excise duty under the Central Excise Tariff Act, 1985. This exemption requires certification from the Ministry of Non-Conventional Energy Sources. Additionally, imports of these goods are eligible for exemption from the additional customs duty under the Customs Tariff Act, 1975, contingent upon the importer providing the necessary certification from the same ministry.
