of <h1>Mangaluru Custom House Implements Document Management System for Shipping Bills, Modifying Public Notice No.12/2015 Procedures.</h1> The New Custom House in Mangaluru has announced the implementation of a Document and File Management System (DFMS) to streamline the handling of Shipping Bills. Effective from June 19, 2017, Customs Brokers must attach the 'CUSTOM COPY' of the coupon to the Shipping Bill document set and submit it to the Docks section officers at the time of the Let Export Order (LEO). This change modifies the existing procedure outlined in Public Notice No.12/2015, while all other procedures remain unchanged. This adjustment aims to address delays in scanning Shipping Bill dockets.
