of <h1>Income Tax Directorate Extends Deadline to Upload Scrutiny Cases Due to Technical Issues, New Date April 7, 2017.</h1> The Directorate of Income Tax (Systems) issued a circular addressing the delay in uploading scrutiny cases on the AST system. The deadline for uploading manually passed orders was extended to April 7, 2017. The circular outlines reasons for pending uploads, such as cases with both original and revised returns, cases referred to other authorities, abated cases, and technical issues. Assessing Officers are instructed to take necessary actions to resolve these issues. A detailed list of pending cases is available on the i-taxnet system. Complaints regarding technical difficulties can be lodged with the ITBA Helpdesk.
