Streamlined Customs Clearance for DPD and AEO Clients Importing Pulses: Advance Filing and 'No Use Bond' Required.
The circular outlines the streamlined customs clearance procedure for Direct Port Delivery (DPD) and Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) clients importing pulses with Risk Management System (RMS) facilitated Bills of Entry (BEs). Importers or Customs Brokers (CBs) must file an advance bill of entry and provide both DPD and Container Freight Station (CFS) codes to the shipping line 72 hours in advance. A 'No Use Bond' must be furnished, and Out of Charge (OOC) can be obtained from RMS facilitation centers or chosen CFS. Sample drawl must be coordinated with the Participating Government Agencies (PGAs). Procedures remain unchanged for non-DPD importers.
