<h1>Exim Bank Grants $50M Credit to Guyana for Road Project; 75% of Resources Must Be Indian-Sourced.</h1> Exim Bank has provided a USD 50 million Line of Credit (LOC) to the Government of the Co-operative Republic of Guyana, supported by the Government of India, for the East Bank East Coast Road Linkage Project. Under this agreement, at least 75% of goods and services must be sourced from India, with the remaining 25% potentially sourced externally. The LOC is effective from March 2, 2017, with a 60-month utilization period post-project completion. Export shipments must comply with Reserve Bank guidelines. No agency commission is payable, but exporters can use their resources for such payments. The circular follows the Foreign Exchange Management Act, 1999.
