of <h1>New Procedure for Direct Port Delivery Clients to Move Goods Directly to Customs Bonded Warehouses Without Using CFS.</h1> The circular outlines a procedure for Direct Port Delivery (DPD) clients to file warehouse Bills of Entry and take delivery of goods directly from port terminals to Customs Bonded Warehouses without using Container Freight Stations (CFS). Importers with a DPD code must file an advance warehouse Bill of Entry, obtain a space certificate from the intended warehouse, complete bond formalities, and secure Out of Charge from the RMS/DPD Facilitation Centre or any CFS. Goods can then be transported directly to the warehouse for further compliance. This procedure accommodates clients facing space or financial constraints. Difficulties should be reported to the Commissioner of Customs.
