The notice provides specific numeric codes for categorizing payments: 004400165 for Transport of Goods by Road, with sub-codes for tax collections (00440016501), other receipts (00440016502), and deduct refunds (00440016503). These codes must be used separately in TR-6 challans for Service Tax and Educational Cess payments. The information should be disseminated to all members of relevant trade associations.
